Aftercare Guidelines

To ensure the longevity and quality of your vehicle's repairs, please follow these aftercare instructions:

Bodywork and Alloy Repairs: Do not wash or polish your vehicle for at least 5-7 days after the repair.
Cold Weather Consideration: Exercise additional caution if repairs were conducted in cold conditions.
Post-Initial Period: After the initial 5-7 days, be cautious with high-power jet washers or automated car washes. They may aggressively affect refurbished finishes and might strip paint from wheels, especially around minor chips.
Avoid Abrasive Contact: Do not apply overly abrasive contact or chemical cleaning products to the repaired areas, as this can damage the repair.
Alloy Wheel Repairs: Avoid changing tyres within 7 days of an alloy wheel repair.
Wheel Reinstallation: If the wheel was removed during the repair process, ensure that the wheel nuts are retightened after 20 miles of driving, as per the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations.
Maintenance of Refurbished Alloy Wheels: After the initial period, clean, refurbished alloy wheels with warm water and a non-abrasive cloth or brush.
General Paintwork Care: Follow the vehicle manufacturer's aftercare handbook guidelines for overall paint maintenance if available.
